G.I.F.Ts

G.I.F.Ts is the Gulf Islands Families Together Society. They provide opportunities, creating inclusion and promoting independence for people over 19. 

GIFTS is a charitable non-profit organization that supports people with developmental disabilities and is governed by a volunteer board of directors, consisting of family members, self-advocates and community members.

GIFTS supports people with disabilities by recognizing their right to employment, social, recreational and educational access, and housing in their community.

In 2001, GIFTS was formed by families to ensure that their sons and daughters living with disabilities were supported to participate in activities of their choice in their community.

GIFTS also assists individuals and families with respite, residential support, training and long range planning.
