About Us

The Diverse Village

YOur Village

Our Mission

They say it takes a village, but what happens when you have to build your own?

  • Where do you go?
  • How do you begin?
  • What resources are there in your community?
  • Why does it feel so lonely and isolating?

At Diverse Village, we help you find the answers to these questions so that you have a village to support your family as your child grows and develops in a unique way. We look for practical ways to assist in finding the resources, removing barriers, provide education, information, fund assessments, and most importantly – build community.

Because everyone deserves a village. And in our Diverse Village, everyone belongs.

Family Day

On August 25th 2024 we hosted the Summer Family Fun playdate event We were generously donated a bouncy castle pirate ship from the Salty Shindig which the kids LOVED! We had nearly 60 people come to the event. There were stations set up with a Sandbox, Trampoline, Scooter boards, Sensory Table, Quiet tent (with weighted blankets, body socks and fidgets), magnet blocks, ninja line, climbing dome, swings, bubbles, sensory wands and a water bead sensory table where the children could roam and play. It was a wonderful day to connect, make friendships and support each other in the community.
