Bear Essentials Grant

Bear Essentials Grant from Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island.

Bear Essentials is a family support program that helps cover the expenses of health-related travel and equipment for children across the Island. It is specifically designed for families who face financial difficulties or other barriers that limit their ability to access necessary medical care or equipment for their child.

Participation in Bear Essentials is by referral only. An eligible child’s health care professional—someone who understands the child’s needs and family situation—must complete the online application with the consent of the parent or primary guardian.
