Camp Thunderbird

At Camp Thunderbird Summer Camp, programs are woven together through engagement with the natural environment, supportive relationships, and active, human-powered recreation. Summer campers learn about teamwork, independence, decision-making, social skills, responsibility, the capacity to take risks and recognize personal limits, and discovering their place in the world. As a result, children and youth are able to belong, grow, thrive, and lead. The benefits gained from these experiences are numerous, but most notably include increased self-esteem, confidence, creativity, self-sufficiency, and leadership skills.
